No Set Price -
all prices vary based on size and amount of work involved.
FULL GROOMING:
A full grooming always includes a bath, drying, any brushing necessary, ears cleaned, nails trimmed, and of course whatever haircut or style has been requested. So this will include any dog who may "just be getting trimmed up", because the work involved with prepping a long hair dog for his/her trim is indeed a full grooming.
Prices start at $50 -$55 for all dogs. We do not base pricing on Breed alone. Every client desires different styles and therefore our prices reflect only the amount of work involved. As with humans, the longer the hair, the more time there is involved in the grooming and therefore longer styles will cost more.
We will do our best to give you an estimate of cost as well as time needed when we see your dog in person & discuss your desired style.
Please note that even "winter cuts" require more time for drying, brushing, combing and more time for scissor work than the basic "summer shave" and this will result in a small price increase. We will also base our pricing on the condition of the coat, the style desired, and the thickness of the coat. Behavior of a dog will be taken into account if the dog is aggressive and requires more time and/or poses a higher risk than other dogs.
BATH ONLY:
All of our bath dogs get their nails trimmed and ears cleaned. They also will get a light brush out as most people who request a bath are short-hairs dogs with not much need of a brushing. If you need any real trimming, have a lot to brush out, or need heavy de-shedding, you may fall into the Full Grooming category, so check with us so we can be sure to schedule you properly.
Prices are between $25-$45 depending on breed and coat. Double coated dogs, large breeds, and longer haired dogs such as German Shepherds will be on the higher end while Pugs & Boxers will be on the lower end. We will do our best to give you an estimate when we see your dog in person & discuss what is needed.
NAILS ONLY:
($5)
We are available to trim nails between 12 - 4 Wed - Sat. Please give us a call a few hours ahead so we know to expect you and we do not have to turn you away. Mornings and late afternoon are very difficult to stop working and you may be turned away if we are not expecting you.
PLEASE NOTE: We do NOT charge extra for de-skunking, flea shampoo, medicated shampoo, or hypoallergenic shampoo, but we MAY charge more for de-matting/brushing out a knotted dog, and WILL charge more for heavily matted dogs who's coats are in such bad shape they must be shaved.

Services not included and why:
ANAL GLANDS:
We, and many vets, agree that this procedure is borderline medical. Therefore only medically trained individuals should be handling this service. Furthermore, expressing the anal glands on a regular basis is a new and debatable trend. Most veterinarians agree that these glands should be left alone in order to properly function, and should only be released when there is concern. It has also been suggested that releasing these glands too frequently can actually cause infections. Therefore, we do not offer this service and hope you understand.
TEETH CLEANING:
Proper teeth cleaning requires scaling the teeth, and when the dog is not sedated, this is very painful to your dog. There are also many other problems that can occur such as chipping the enamel and not properly smoothing it out. (which can lead to infection and/or more plaque build up) This is why groomers can really only offer brushing, not full cleaning. However, if your dog is only getting his/her teeth brushed at the groomers, it's really not doing much at all. Brushing your dogs teeth should be done much more regular to really have an effect. Besides, it's a great bonding experience for you and your dog. We'd love to offer advice on the various tools and techniques for brushing your dog's teeth, but we feel that to offer that service would be wasting your money.
